Gloves and masks are being dropped on the streets..... Update...5 days later....on review I figured that this colour image was too mundane. A black and white version has a more dramatic quality: ...and the contract can be upped further so that the image verges on the abstract: Gottit!!

The virus from Hell:

Today the postie delivered urgent notices concerning the virus to every letterbox. Unfortunately it was a windy day.......

The lockdown brought several immediate store-closures here in Browns Bay. "The Attic" - a recycled clothing store was the first to go.  

The leader of the Chinese Communist State Xi Jinping (aka "Winnie the Pooh") has succeeded in hurling a wrecking ball through the entire world economy with this Pooh-Flu pandemic. Sign of the Times   Deliberately? Who knows - but with its trillions of dollars the CCP will be very well placed to step in and purchase abandoned/bankrupt infrastructure worldwide at rock-bottom prices very soon. As we all know (or should) the Chinese are playing the long game with their economic colonialism practices - this will be their big chance to take control of vital ports, railroads, mines, fishing-zones..etc. There are, of course, many other conspiracy theories out there - time will prove them right or wrong, but I am sure the "truthers" are having a field day. Meanwhile, the effects are being felt here in New Zealand  with a Level 4 shutdown due to be enforced at 11.19pm tonight. These Pooh-Flu posts will document the effects of the disaster here in my neighbourh
